Make it a weekend under the Water Tower, friends. The Golden Valley Festival takes place Saturday, September 19, and Market in the Valley follows on Sunday, September 20, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Join us at 7800 Golden Valley Road in Golden Valley for your weekly shopping, a morning of live music, and time with your neighbors.
Sunday’s lineup includes 45 vendors and community participants. Bring your shopping bags, take a look through the weekly lineup, and leave yourself time to browse. Whether you come with a list or simply want to see what’s at the tables, we’d love to see you.
A shout-out to the Golden Valley Festival
Before Sunday’s market, spend some of your Saturday at the Golden Valley Festival. The September 19 event runs from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM under the Water Tower, with art, live music, family activities, and food trucks. It’s another opportunity to enjoy the neighborhood and the people who make Golden Valley a place to gather.

At the market this week
Growers
Seven growers are on Sunday’s list. Start your visit with a walk through their tables, see what they’ve brought, and ask about the selection. A conversation with a grower can be a good way to decide what to take home and how to work it into the week ahead. Let what you find guide your shopping.
Baked Goods
Five baked-goods vendors are scheduled this week. Make room for a stop at their tables as you plan your Sunday visit. Browse the offerings, ask the bakers about ingredients, and choose something that fits your household. It’s an easy place to pause between the produce tables and the rest of the market.
Specialty Foods and more
Continue through the specialty-foods lineup, then explore the honey, preserves, and meat-and-dairy categories. Ready-to-eat vendors are also scheduled if you’d like to make a meal part of your visit. Beyond food, Sunday’s lineup includes clothing and crafts, personal care, household goods, and health and wellness. Take a little time to browse the handmade work and talk with the people behind the tables. Our nonprofit and community participants will be there too, including the Master Gardeners. Bring along the garden question you’ve been meaning to ask.
Live music all morning
Dale Hartman plays from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by Steve West and the Northern Stars from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Come early, stop by later, or stay for part of both sets while you enjoy the market.
Hand Heart Yoga is scheduled for 9:30 AM. If yoga is part of your Sunday plan, keep that time in mind as you arrange your visit.
