Market in the Valley is open Sunday, September 13, from 9 am to 1 pm at 7800 Golden Valley Road, under the Water Tower.
Start with the growers
Linda’s list for this Sunday includes Beck’s, Svihel’s, Lor Produce, Yang’s Fresh Flowers and Vegetable, Bao Yang, 2JCK Produce, and The Farm of Minnesota. Stop by, see what they have brought, and ask what was just picked. The best shopping list often starts with that conversation.
For an easy meal this week, choose a few vegetables at the market and roast them with oil and your favorite seasoning. Add bread, cheese, or whatever you already have at home. Let the day’s selection lead the way; individual products and quantities will vary.
Fill the pantry
